A Tailor's Ham!

finished July 1, 2020

This tailors ham has the (seemingly?) traditional 2 sides: 1 of plaid and one of canvas. I simply sketched a shape out, mostly assembled it, then spent a while cutting up some (fabric) cabbage to stuff it with (this took the longest). I then finished the stitching.

The plaid is actually an old plaid flannel shirt that, due to age, I used 2 layers of because the fabric itself was starting to thin.

I actually tea-dyed the canvas, instead of leaving it practically snow-white.

For stuffing I used a variety of cabbage but primarily LOTS of small scraps cut into smaller scraps, as well as the remainder of the shirt as stuffing.
