18th-century style pockets

I finished sewing the pockets themselves together 4/11/20 but added the twill tape waistband on later, on 5/3/20  where it was sewn to the back of each pocket, and the ends were hemmed.

These were a very easy project. I sketched the shape out based on photos of both extants and modern ones, then cut the pockets out. There are 3 layers- the blue layer, a layer of muslin because I wanted to embroider them, then another layer of blue. I decided not to embroider these, but I might someday, or I might just make a different pair to embroider. So I simply sewed the muslin to the front, then sewed the back to the 2-layer front. Then I stitched on the twill tape waistband.
